For this week’s art activity, we had to spray paint! I was super excited about this project because I had never even touched a spray paint can before. Unfortunately I didn’t have any spray paint at my apartment in Long Beach, but I did find a can when I went home for spring break at my parent’s house. There was only one color, black. I didn’t have the opportunity to find a nice place to complete this project, so my dad pulled out a piece of cardboard from my sister’s old project. Because I have never spray painted anything, I started off spraying from really far away and nothing showed up. Then I realized that I had to go A LOT closer for the paint to touch the card board. All in all, I had a lot of fun doing this activity. I definitely did not think I would ever have to spray paint anything so this was a new experience for me.
